A. Hosting and DNS/Name Server Information
This section deals with any nameserver or dns settings. In some cases we are hosting your dns or you are pointing your www A record to our servers. The details below should assist you in obtaining the correct information.
If you are unsure about any of these settings, please contact us right away to confirm or the person who is managing your domain name.
1. Name server Information
- Generally its a good idea that we host your nameservers on our dns cluster so we can make quick changes to the dns.
NS1.ARCTICSERVERS.NET
NS2.ARCTICSERVERS.NET
HOWEVER, if you are hosting the dns yourself and we are hosting your web site, then you will need to point the A Name record to the one listed below.
2. A Name Record
- The following IP Address should be added as your A Name record if your site is hosted with us but you manage your own dns.
54.172.96.153
OBVIOUSLY, if you are hosting the dns yourself then enter your own A Name record whatever that may be.
B. Email Information
This section deals with any issues if you are hosted on our enterprise email platform. If you are "self hosting" your email for example on google apps or an internal mail server in your office then the settings in this section would not apply. However, if you are having issues with your mail if then please contact us to confirm as the issue you are experiencing could well be a dns issue if your dns is pointing or hosted with us.
